🧠 Social Skills (Fearful or Reactive Dogs)

For dogs who bark, lunge, or shy away from people or dogs. This small-group program provides structure, space, and support so reactive or fearful dogs can learn safer coping strategies. Not for dogs with severe aggression or bite history — those cases are best served through C-SIP board & train.

Extensive screening is required: each dog must complete a daycare evaluation or an overnight evaluation before joining. This ensures safety and sets your dog up for success.

Training Focus

  • Handler focus & reinforcement timing
  • Disengagement from triggers
  • Parallel walking practice
  • Mat work and calm entry/exit routines
  • Confidence through predictable structure

Safety & Structure

  • Max 5 dogs with generous spacing
  • One-at-a-time entry & exit
  • Visual barriers as needed
  • Muzzles recommended case-by-case after evaluation
  • No e-collars; Herm Sprenger prongs only if approved and fitted

If the evaluation shows your dog needs rehab, we’ll recommend C-SIP and welcome you back when ready.

When: Saturdays, 7:00–8:00 PM · Duration: 12 consecutive weeks
